I earned my acupuncture degree at the famed New England School of Acupuncture and my Masters in Pain Research, Education, and Policy degree from Tufts. I went on to earn a Nurse Practitioner’s degree from the MGH Institute of Health Professions.
This makes me uniquely qualified to practice integrative care and wellness because I can pull relevant training from both Western and Eastern medicine.

you touch everything."

ACUPUNCTURE
Health Begins Here

Acupuncture is a technique in which practitioners stimulate specific points on the body—most often by inserting thin needles through the skin. It is one of the practices used in traditional Chinese medicine.
CHINESE HERBAL MEDICINE
All You Need

The Chinese Materia Medica (a Traditional Chinese Medicine pharmacological reference book) describes thousands of medicinal substances—primarily plants, but also some minerals and animal products. Different parts of plants, such as the leaves, roots, stems, flowers, and seeds, are used. Herbs are often combined in formulas and given as teas, capsules, liquid extracts, granules, or powders.

CUPPING
“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.”
― Hippocrates
Cupping is a practice used in traditional medicine in several parts of the world, including China and the Middle East. It involves creating suction on the skin using a glass, ceramic, bamboo, or plastic cup. Negative pressure is created in the cup either by applying a flame to the cup to remove oxygen before placing it on the skin or by attaching a suction device to the cup after it is placed on the skin. In “wet cupping,” the skin is pierced, and blood flows into the cup. “Dry cupping” doesn’t involve piercing the skin.
